"I liked them better when they were extinct" – Ice Age 3 – review
July 7, 2009I have no idea how the writers of this movie can still create good stuff and not repeat themselves. I just saw “ICE AGE: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” and the third part of this animated sequel is still funny and has an adventure story that keeps you glued to your chair.
It all starts when Sid finds three dinosaur eggs in a cave and wants to keep them and raise them. Obviously the mother dinosaur comes for her babies but also takes Sid with her. And from here on the adventure never stops. Manny and the misses (who is also about to become a mother), Diego (who was thinking about leaving the pack to get back to the adventure) and the two small weasels, that were introduced in the second part of the series discover, that they have been leaving above an entire world, one that still has dinosaurs.
The road to rescue Sid is full of dangers, but the gang finds the help of Buck, a very funny weasel, which guides them thru this world. I must say that the addition of this character was an inspired move by the authors.
Overall this was a very good movie and if you have time please go in the cinemas and see it.
Oh yes and Scrat finds his love in this part
