Transformers: Revenge of the fallen – box office record
June 29, 2009Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has reached a record revenue in America and is, so far, the film with the highest income for the weekend’s launch in 2009. The film has accumulated 201.2 million dollars during the first five days in cinemas, according to Box Office Mojo.
Transformers 2 has managed to achieve performance close to last year’s film, The Dark Knight, which had a revenue of 203.8 million dollars in the first days after being launched.
As a comparison, on the second place in the box office we have “The proposal”, ex no. 1, which earned “only” 18.4 million dollars in its first few days on screen.
