A new Batman?

June 29, 2009

It seems director Christopher Nolan, prepares a new Batman movie. After the great success with “The Dark Knight”, Christian Bale will once again put the bat costume on to fight evil in Gotham. Nobody has confirmed anything yet but it seems the movie is to be released in 2011 and the main evil character this time will be “The Riddler”.

Fans of the series will remeber seeing the riddler in 1995′s “Batman Forever”, when Val Kilmer would play Bruce Wayne and Jim Carey was the one making him a hard time.

Supposedly, Johnny Depp was offered the role and it seems he would actually like to team up again with Bale after this summer’s hit, “Public Enemies”, where the two are leading stars.s

Nothing but good can come out of this :)

  1. I truly hope that your sources are right! It will definitely be a very interesting experience to taste the Nolan "touch" once again, especially when Bale would be the one making it happen. But from what I've heard, Nolan put his foot on the ground and stated that he would go for it only if it would be THE LAST BATMAN EVER MADE. Can we accept this?…

  2. Given the number of Batmans made untill now I would say that yes we can accept that, but taking into consideration that "The dark night" was briliant, and I know that it was a very nice surprise, at least for me. Taking this into consideration and the fact that Bale is leading this serries, I wouldn't want it to end!
